Baker Street: Details and signage
From Finchley Road on Sunday, we'd zoomed down the Metropolitan to Baker Street to pick up the Bakerloo over to Paddington. On the platform was an archway - probably load bearing, or something else highly important to stop the roof falling on us, but it seemed an unnecessary portal...I like finding these odd details...naturally I walked through it, just in case it was interdimensional.

Again low light made taking pictures with my little camera difficult.

In small type on the wall. Lovely burnt orange tiling...

	sadly no - plans on hold fofr that as financial situation has changed. However, I am in London that weekend anyway as it's the London Transport Museum's Open Day at the Acton Depot which you might enjoy anyway... (Reply to this)(Parent)

	sorry, I was being obscure in my SF/psychogeography references...Michael Marshall Smith novel about sort-of interdimensional travel Only Forward...idea you can't ever go back to the same place twice and things are different going up the road as down a road - perspective is everything...book has some good jokes in it too...
