Ashes to ashes
Keep an eye out, people, for the BBC trailer for the sequel to Life on Mars - Ashes to Ashes...Just saw it, and nearly fell off my chair, as looks to me like it was filmed at Millenium Mills.  Actually, it's less 'looks like it' than 'oh my god that's where we were chased by security guards in a 4x4 with black-tinted windows!'

I suspect that will be what the 'unit' signage was for - which means that the shells myself and [info]psychonomy found, which [info]failing_angel discovered to be blanks, might have been from that filming.  I'd rather think that I have a small piece of Gene Hunt going postal memorabilia than evidence of terrorist cells  practicing for a war on our way of life... still, it was a creepy place to walk about with the graffiti...

To see our own bit of completely illicit filming at the same location, I refer you my post on Pontoon Docks...

I think there was copious swearing and 'look, look' type shouting at the telly...the cat completely unimpressed of course...

Impressive! :o)

By the way, is the museum party still going ahead? Just wondered, so we can see about booking the time off work...

Sadly no it's not. My circumstances have changed so I can't afford it. Maybe nexy year when I've sorted a few things out.
